The Helping Hand Project at NC State

We are a student organization that designs and builds 3D printed prosthetic hands for children with limb differences.

The Helping Hand Project is an organization that uses innovation & creative approaches to create recreational prosthetic devices for children across the country! All work is pro bono as we do not charge for our services. We are not a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization but we work closely with Project Helping Hands which is. Also, all funds for the club go towards the designing and building of prosthetics for children.

Join us Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 for our annual Spring Showcase! Come and learn about all the hard work our members have been putting in. There will be prizes, treats, and activities. Everyone is welcome, and we can’t wait to see you there!

We hope everyone has had a smooth start to spring semester. Our first meeting will be next week on January 21 from 7-8 PM. We will meet in EB 3 room 4201.

Postponed but not cancelled! Join us next week for our Free Expression Tunnel Painting event from 7-8:30. This will be in place of a traditional meeting, but you will still earn an attendance point for showing up. There will be games, snacks, and a chance to pie Karl. We hope to see you there!

Welcome back, Helping Hand family!
We’re excited to kick off another amazing semester of making a difference.

So far, our team has already:
-Completed CAD training
-Finished sensitivity training

…and we’re just getting started! Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to create meaningful change this semester.
