This month, NCANA joins individuals and organizations across the country in raising awareness about breast cancer, honoring those affected, and emphasizing the importance of early detection.

Breast cancer awareness starts with education and proactive care. Regular screenings, understanding your personal risk factors, and recognizing changes in your body can make a meaningful difference.

Leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about showing up, speaking up, and helping move our profession forward!

Following Kasey Morgan's election as NCANA President-Elect, the District 1 Director position will become vacant, creating an exciting opportunity for another CRNA to step into a leadership role.

NCANA is now accepting nominations for District 1 Director! The position will be appointed by the NCANA Board of Directors, with the term beginning January 1, 2027.

🚨 NC CRNAs: We need your voice before October 9!

NCANA is asking members to contact Senators Ted Budd and Thom Tillis and urge them to sign the bipartisan Lummis–Merkley letter, which calls on CMS to eliminate the federal physician-supervision rule for CRNAs.

Removing this federal requirement would give healthcare facilities greater flexibility to choose the anesthesia delivery model that best meets the needs of their patients, workforce, and communities. It would not require hospitals to change their current anesthesia model, and it would not change state scope-of-practice law or Medicare Part B billing rules.

The deadline is October 9 — please contact Senators Budd and Tillis and ask them to support the Lummis–Merkley letter.
