Great turnout at our monthly meeting at the welcoming and friendly venue, Hip Hip Parade. Once again, so many members stepped up, braved the fierce weather and shared their beautiful and impressive work.  We welcomed some new faces in person, and virtually from as far as Australia and fearless leader, Daniel even attended virtually from the beach!

Join us at the North Carolina Museum of Art's Community Day!

Saturday 6/27, we will have a table at the community Day alongside Cathy Vandiford Wiggins. We would love to see you all at this great event, and see the great work we are doing right here in Raleigh!

The event will be open from 10-5.

Last couple of days to register for the beginner-intermediate floral class at Hip Hip Parade!

Go over to their website to reserve your spot in Daniel's class. It'll be a good place to learn some basic approaches to floral or to take your knowledge to the next level. There will be opportunities for learning at all levels!

Another great guild meeting and turnout last night. Thanks again to our host Angel at Hip Hip Parade for allowing us to use their space for our meetings. And many thanks to Tandy Leather for hosting us over the many years. Our partnership remains a strong as ever.

As I was unable to make our monthly meeting I'm displaying my "show and tell " piece here. This is certainly most color I've ever been asked to use in a chap build. I was afraid the result would be almost garish-but instead IMO is a good example of the value of the antiquing process.

Next meeting new location!!!

Our next meeting will be held at Hip Hip Parade in Raleigh!! 630-830 pm June 2nd.

Thank you to Kelly Lewis Wetter and Raleigh Tandy for years of hosting us! We hope people will still go and to Tandy to hang out before the Guild meeting! And there are just too many of us these days to work well in the store!

Hip Hip Parade should be a great location for us! The location on Google maps is a little iffy. It is in Durant village, in the construction zone. There are signs leading to Durant village. If you navigate to the coffee shop (link below), it'll get you there.

Hip Hip Parade is generously donating space to us! Whether you can make the meeting or not, go by and check out their location. Lots of great local crafts!

Our first class with Ed LaBarre!
