We had another fine turnout at the Raleigh Leather Guild monthly meeting; and we continue to expand with more new faces being seen and happily we are welcoming more "virtual" participants at every meeting. It's always gratifying to see that our members are industrious and creative and happy to share the products of their hard work with us!

Day One of Cary Lazy Daze was a fun, busy day as members of the guild taught people of all ages the joy of tooling leather! Day Two is sure to be more of the same. Thanks to Chris K, Chris B, Tyler C, Tyler D, and Holly for doing such a great job today. And thanks to Kelly from Tandy Leather for providing leather for the Festival.

What a great meeting we had at the Raleigh Leather Guild this month- including an "appearance" by the legendary Robert Beard! Pres. Daniel Rhodes had an amazing opportunity to spend some time with him and returned with a print of one of his most beautiful works, as well as the sampling of every single tool Bob has made! (See first 2 pics). As always, it is a pleasure to be part of a group that is so dedicated, talented and productive.

Great turnout at our monthly meeting at the welcoming and friendly venue, Hip Hip Parade. Once again, so many members stepped up, braved the fierce weather and shared their beautiful and impressive work.  We welcomed some new faces in person, and virtually from as far as Australia and fearless leader, Daniel even attended virtually from the beach!

Join us at the North Carolina Museum of Art's Community Day!

Saturday 6/27, we will have a table at the community Day alongside Cathy Vandiford Wiggins. We would love to see you all at this great event, and see the great work we are doing right here in Raleigh!

The event will be open from 10-5.

Last couple of days to register for the beginner-intermediate floral class at Hip Hip Parade!

Go over to their website to reserve your spot in Daniel's class. It'll be a good place to learn some basic approaches to floral or to take your knowledge to the next level. There will be opportunities for learning at all levels!
