A TRAGIC LOSS...

It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic news of the passing of our esteemed Agency Board Member and Raleigh Police Department Chief Executive Assistant, Shelly Owens.

Shelly lost her life in a vehicle crash in Virginia over the weekend, after completing her final day of service with the Raleigh Police Department the day before.

Shelly was a valued member of our Agency Board whose dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our mission made a lasting impact on The 200 Club and the community we serve. Her insight, professionalism, and generous spirit enriched our organization, and her contributions will not be forgotten. Those who had the privilege of serving alongside Shelly knew her as a compassionate, devoted, and respected colleague and friend.

This sudden and heartbreaking loss leaves us all deeply saddened. As we remember Shelly and the many ways she supported The 200 Club, I ask that you keep her family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

On behalf of The 200 Club, we extend our deepest condolences to all who are mourning her loss.

With deepest sympathy,

The 200 Club Board of Directors
