Week #4 of the Supplemental Summer Sessions marks the halfway point.

The focus for session four was “passing” with an emphasis on weight distribution and the proper mechanics that allow players to make crisp, flat, accurate passes.

It wouldn’t be an A2 session if there wasn’t an opportunity to work on skating, edgework, and puck control as well.

The girls opened up with 15 minutes of skating followed by passing patterns that had a 1:1 or 1:3 work to rest ratio and wrapped with some heads up stickhandling and shooting.

Thank you everyone that continues to support A2 as it wouldn’t be possible without you! The original registration for the supplemental summer sessions sold out in 1-2 days and attendance for the first four session has averaged 27-28 players which has been fantastic considering family vacations, summer camps and clinics, etc.

Thanks again for supporting A2 and my desire to provide the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 birth years with supplemental training opportunities throughout the summer.

In July, several of our regulars will be out of town due to camps, clinics, summer vacations, etc. As result, we have open slots this month for our small group training sessions (Quarter Ice Rental / 6 player cap):

The new '26-'27 A2 Angels White-Out / Frozen jersey has been designed. A small sample (5 jerseys) were ordered as a possible replacement to our cream jerseys, any thoughts?

Also, a small sample (5 jerseys) of black A2 training jerseys have also been ordered. The red ones will remain the "free/earned" training jersey for the early morning crew. I have had a few requests now about A2 training jerseys so I figured a black version will be perfect for clinics, camps, etc. I wasn't able to get in a large order before our current Supplemental Summer Sessions; however, moving forward I will try to provide training jerseys to interested players.

The Angels win a 2-1 SHOOT-OUT THRILLER in the championship game to win the 12u Tier I division at the 2026 OneHockey Philadelphia tournament!!!!

The girls went 5-0 on the weekend though after cruising through day one of the tournament things got significantly more challenging and goals were at a premium in each of the final 3 games.

Chloe Cao opened the scoring in the championship game but the girls had to dig deep as they were limited to just 6 shots going into the third period. A total team effort helped keep the game knotted at 1-1 where Chloe and Tatiana cashed in their shootout attempts and Abigail limited the Selects to a single goal.

The Angels advanced to the finals at the OneHockey - Philadelphia Tournament with a 5-2 semi-final win over Method Hockey (PA).

The girls came out slow but progressively got stronger as the game went and pulled away in the third to earn the win and advance to the finals.

Noa Acey was named player of the game for her strong defensive play and quality outlet passes.

Next up is the Championship game at 1:45 pm against a very good and highly motivated HT Selects team.

The Angels earned the top seed at the OneHockey - Philadelphia Tournament with a 2-0 win this evening. The girls went 3-0 in round robin play scoring 18 goals and keeping the opponents off the scoreboard with three consecutive shutouts.

The Angels return to the ice tomorrow morning at 9:30 am for the 1st vs 4th place semi-final game.

Mia Day was named player of the game as she cashed in a rebound for the game winner.

The Angels finished day one at the OneHockey - Philadelphia Tournament with a 4-0 win. The girls secured a total of four points on the opening day and made solid progress towards locking up a top four finish and a spot in Sunday’s semi-finals.

Chloe Cao was named player of the game as she controlled the game with her smooth and powerful skating and generated numerous high-quality scoring opportunities for the Angels.

The Angels opened up the OneHockey - Philadelphia Tournament with a 12-0 win. The girls return to the ice at 1:15 pm for game #2 against the Hockey Core (Maryland).

Chloe Cook earned Player of the Game honors by displaying aggression and utilizing her speed on the forecheck to disrupt the other team!
