For Ella, care means coming back. And back again. 💙✈️

Since 2017, Children’s Flight of Hope has provided 70 flights to help Ella reach specialists at Boston Children’s Hospital for care related to Hirschsprung’s disease and a solitary kidney.

Now 11, Ella’s story reminds us why access to care must extend beyond the first appointment. When a child needs to return, the cost of getting there shouldn’t stand in the way. Thanks to many, for Ella it doesn't.

You’ve set aside funds to make a difference. DAF Day is a great time to put them to work. 🩵

October 8 is DAF Day, a reminder to turn the funds already in your donor-advised fund into meaningful impact.

Many donors don't realize that uninvested cash sitting in their DAF account is ready to be deployed at any moment. DAFs can be funded in a variety of ways, including cash and appreciated stock. However you choose to give, recommending a grant to Children’s Flight of Hope can help families overcome the cost of travel and get their children to specialized medical care far from home.

Some moments change a family forever. 🩵
Julie knows that firsthand.

During her daughter Ashlyn’s cancer journey, their family met another family walking the same unimaginable road. Their daughter, Liv, was fighting too.

Two beautiful children. One for healing...and one found hope.

Both Julie and Ashlyn carry this reality. Because no family should have to lose a child to cancer. No parent should have to hear that there are no more options. And if they ever do, they should have the peace of knowing their child had the best possible care.

Now, Julie is sharing their story with hope for something bigger: a future where every child has a chance, where families have more answers, more treatments, and ultimately, a cure for childhood cancer.
