What if one night OUT could mean 1,000 nights IN for families experiencing homelessness?

Our Night of Hope is coming back on September 10th from 5-7pm at Clouds Brewing (formerly To***co Road) in Raleigh! Tickets include heavy hors d'oeuvres, open bar (beer and wine), and access to our silent auction. You can purchase your tickets or sponsorships at www.familypromisetriangle.org/hope!

We're often asked what the right term is for the people we serve. "Homeless"? "Unhoused"? "Experiencing homelessness"? Officially, Family Promise uses the term "experiencing homelessness."

But...

We were talking about this as a staff the other day and one of our case managers was asked what his clients prefer to be called. His response was "Um... their names."

We need to always remember that people experiencing homelessness are, in fact, PEOPLE experiencing homelessness with real stories, real families, and real names.
