Since its start, in 1919, The American Legion has advocating on behalf of all military personnel, veterans, and their families through the Four Pillars: Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, Strong National Defense, Americanism, and Children & Youth. The Legion led the charge in creating the Veterans Bureau whic

h later became the Veteran Administration, in 1944 wrote the G.I. Bill of Rights which allowed returning veterans from World War II to buy homes and go to school. Through children and youth programs like the Boy Scouts of America and American Legion Baseball. When a Soldier, Sailor, Airmen, or Marine deploys The American Legion advocates for a well-funded, well equipped, and well-trained military and through programs like Operation Comfort Warrior, as well a temporary financial assistance as necessary. Calling all NC Legionnaires, coaches, and youth with a Jr Shooting Sports Program interest.

We invite you to join us for a Rifle Seminar presented by Daisy tomorrow, Thursday, August 6th at American Legion Post 116, 6400 Johnson Pond Rd, Fuquay-Varina, 27526 at 3pm in Building #2.
Update: If you have a Challenger rifle that has issues, please bring it. They become great learning aids and may be able to fix on the spot or we will teach folks how to do it. themselves (another purpose of the seminar). There will be parts for the new 2021 Challenger, not the older 2009 Challenger.

Attention Jr Shooting Coaches, youth, and Legionnaires in a JSSP role, or interested in learning more about the JSSP program.

We will be hosting a Rifle 101 Seminar by Daisy Crosman at American Legion Post 116 in Fuquay-Varina (6400 Johnson Pond Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526)
on August 6th. It will be held at 3pm and last about 60-90 minutes.

The purpose of this seminar is to educate youth, coaches, and Legionnaires on Sporter rifle basics, tips and tricks, etc.
