The "Original" Raleigh Weekly Social Run We meet every Monday at Trophy Brewing on Maywood Avenue in Raleigh, NC.

Runners/walkers leave @ 6PM, with most opting for the mapped out 3, 4, or 5 mile loops... some choose their own path. At 7PM we begin the entertainment, whether it's trivia, or one of our monthly Charity runs.

Meet Hannes Ringoot, a dedicated member of nOG Run Club and a man on a mission. After the heartbreaking loss of his daughter Ellory in August 2025 due to a preventable cause - a small placenta - Hannes and his wife, Celeste, turned their grief into action.

In Ellory’s honor, Hannes has committed to running one marathon every month for a year. His goal? To raise awareness and crucial funds for placental health and stillbirth prevention ensuring no other family has to experience this unimaginable loss.

Through every race, Hannes brings people together, honors his daughter‘s memory, and most importantly, works to save future parents from this trauma.

We are inspired by Hannes‘ journey and grateful he calls nOG Run Club home on Monday nights. This Saturday, Hannes will take on the Roanoke marathon, followed by the Durham Garmin series marathon on May 2nd.

We want to give a big shoutout to Gary Franks for this years calendar sales! Gary has been photographing and making the Running in the Triangle calendars for the past several years now and has raised thousands of dollars for local organizations in doing so. With the help of Susan Heuser Knipper, almost 700 calendars were sold this year! Proceeds from the calendar sales will go to help with our Back to School drive this summer, as well as individual donations to several local organizations that are doing good in the Triangle. Big thanks to Gary & Susan, as well as everyone who purchased a calendar to support the community!

That jolly old dude is about to squeeze himself down the chimney soon, so let’s celebrate before everyone heads home for the holidays!

Join us next Monday for a special run club with hot toddy’s and hot cocoa from , pizza from , a photo booth amongst a forest of Fraser Firs, and raffle prizes with proceeds going to the Me Fine Foundation. The Me Fine Foundation provides financial assistance and emotional support for families with children experiencing medical crises at local area hospitals.

Even though them temps are looking chilly, bring out your crew and bask in the warm glow of the Bend Bar and tree lot setup by Old North. We got the vibes, y’all bring the crew!

We’re excited to announce the Dix Park Kids Dash at this year’s Trophy Trot!

Register your little one(s) for free to run in the cutest 400 meter or half mile race on Thanksgiving Day. The Kids Dash starts at 8:45am, so parents have enough time to watch your biggest fans, then turn around and run in the 5K at 9am! Each kid will also receive a custom medal made out of something big and special from Dix Park 🧌. Get the fam in today and get ready for the perfect start to your Thanksgiving morning!
