✨Client spotlight: Maxine ✨️
Maxine (name changed) came to Women's Center when she found herself unhoused. She came seeking resources, but also found community. Maxine describes, "The camaraderie....the friendships. I've made some good friends out here," as her favorite things about the center. "They're very community-based... In general, I think there's some good people out here that just need a break....staff has been awesome. They've been stellar." she continues. We strive to provide our guests with a place where they can build community in the hardest of times.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back?
Your time can make a real difference for women in our community.
The Women’s Center offers daily volunteer opportunities to provide meals, lend a helping hand in our donation center, or show women that their community cares by teaching a workshop.
Whether you have a few hours to give or want to become a regular volunteer, we’d love to have you join us!

DAF Day is this week! Extreme weather and systemic barriers leave hundreds of women in Wake County with nowhere to turn. At The Women’s Center, your support provides immediate relief: hot meals, warm showers, clean clothing, and a path toward permanent housing, healthcare, and self-sufficiency. DAF day is almost upon us! Systemic barriers leave hundreds of women with nowhere to turn. Through a DAF or donor-advised fund you can help the Women's Center protect the safety and health of the women in our community. A grant today means a woman tomorrow doesn't have to face poverty, domestic violence, or displacement alone.
