The North Carolina Poetry Society Adult Contests deadline has been extended! Submissions are now due by midnight on February 1, so if you were thinking of becoming a member, or if you recently let your membership expire, now would be a great time to sign up again. That's because submissions to ten of the eleven contests are free for current members. They are reasonably priced for non-members. For more info, visit the Adult Contests page: http://www.ncpoetrysociety.org/adultcontests/.

Send in your poems to our Adult Contests - check out the contest themes on the website (above). You can win or place and be invited to read your work at our gala Awards Day meeting in May, our most-attended event of the year. The top cash prize for Poet Laureate Award is shown on our website, as are the cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for other contests.

The following information is for the 2018 NCPS Contests. Submissions will be accepted beginning November 1, 2017, and end January 19, 2018.
