We are proud to introduce the third cohort of Girls Make Games College Scholarship Winners! The program received a record number of applications, and our selection committee was blown away by the amazing candidates. This year for the first time, we're thrilled to offer not three but four scholarship awards.

The GMG Scholarship Fund was launched in 2022 to bridge the gap between high school and industry for aspiring game developers.

The 2025 college scholarships are sponsored by PlayStation, Take-Two Interactive., Humble Bundle, and the wider GMGSF community. We are thrilled to support Malissa, Sahiti, Sereniti and Kyra in their educational and professional journeys and can't wait to see what they do from here.

The 2024 Girls Make Games College application is now LIVE!

Our summer camp alumni tell us how often the decision to choose a college and major comes down to getting funding for tuition. The 4 year GMGSF College Scholarship was established in 2023 to help support students by defraying some of the costs associated with attending college.

All US based female + non-binary high school seniors and aspiring are encouraged to apply by May 31 for the chance to receive a $10,000 scholarship, mentoring opportunities, and job/internship placement support!

Eligibility to apply:

• High school senior
• Identify as female or non-binary person
• Accepted to an undergraduate program at an accredited four year college or university for Fall 2024
• Interest in pursuing a degree in field related to video game development
• In need of financial assistance to attend college
