As you know we usually have our Bailacura Charity Gala every year but due to the circumstances with the pandemic we're only able to have smaller event to bring everyone together for our cause 🤝🏼

✨Join us for our Bailacura Benefit Dinner that we will be hosting on Saturday, September 18th at 7 PM! ✨
It will be a smaller event than our usual gala but with the same mission as always, which is to raise money for cancer research!

💛We need your help💛
After 2 weeks after having a severe Focal Seizure that led to the discovery of a brain tumor Ralph, had to have immediate surgery to remove it. On Nov. 10th his Neurosurgeon was able remove most of the mass, but he was then diagnosed a couple weeks after with Brain Cancer after the results of the biopsy, specifically an Anaplastic Astrocytoma Grade 3. Currently he has completed 6 weeks of Proton Radiation/Chemotherapy at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Cancer Center. His next steps will be to complete an MRI and see how the treatment has affected the cancer, whether there has been shrinkage, growth or if it is stable.

BAILACURA TALKS: Abnormal Tests

It is so important to follow up with your doctors if your receive an abnormal test. It doesn't necessarily mean you have cancer, it just means you have to keep being monitored and anything that may show up can be curable. Further explained by Drs. Ann Miller and Linda Van Le in our interview conducted by team member Florencia.

Baby Adrian is only 21 months old and was recently diagnosed with Wilms Tumor which is a kidney cancer that affects young children. He will be in surgery and will receive chemotherapy in the next 6 months. His family needs our help as his parents are busy caring for Adrian through this difficult time. There are links to provide meals, wishlist items and a donation link. Adrian's dad, Patrick Tran is a member of our dance community and we are so saddened by these news. Anything will help his family ❤

Today is World Cancer Day 🌎 We would like to celebrate all those who have fought the courageous battle, raise awareness of cancer and to honor those who still face it everyday. Our organization's goal is to keep raising funds to support cancer research and to keep helping those who need our help.
