He is risen indeed!

This Easter, we celebrate the victory of God over sin and death—the gift of new life given when we were powerless to save ourselves.

Because of that love, we are called to love God and love our neighbors. And you are living that out in a powerful way—standing with orphaned children and vulnerable youth as they move from desperation to hope. Many describe their journey with Zoe as a true new beginning—economically, socially, and spiritually.

As we rejoice in the empty tomb, thank you for being God’s hands and feet—bringing hope, dignity, and the possibility of new life to others this Easter. ✝️

Every 2025 empowerment group has been fully partnered—what an incredible milestone.

Because of your generosity and compassion, 7,656 orphaned and vulnerable youth-led families will enter 2026 with the training, support, and opportunity they’ve been waiting for. That is a total of 26,614 youth!

Your partnership has ensured that every one of them will begin their empowerment journey surrounded by a caring group and equipped with the tools to transform their futures.

A message from Gaston Warner...

When Fiona was just 13, her mother made one final request before she passed away:
“Take care of your siblings.”
Fiona promised she would.

That promise meant fleeing an unsafe home after her mother’s death, caring for a baby brother who suffered seizures, and keeping her siblings together while living with—and caring for—her disabled grandmother and blind grandfather. No child should have to carry that weight.
Then, in 2022, everything changed.
Fiona joined Zoe Empowers Rwanda.

With training, support, and a small startup investment, Fiona launched a vegetable business. Soon, she was able to feed her family, send her siblings back to school, and afford medical care for her baby brother. With the help of her empowerment group, she even built a home for her family.

What feels like a miracle to me is this: the solution wasn’t complicated—just the right support at the right time.

Today, Fiona runs three successful businesses. Her family has moved beyond surviving to thriving. And her future—once filled with fear—is now filled with possibility.

With a lifelong passion for art but no materials to create, Lishy used to sketch in the margins of his schoolbooks and dream of becoming an artist. When he lost his parents, he left school to care for his younger siblings and thought his dream was over. Through Zoe Empowers, he discovered renewed hope, received art supplies, and found encouragement to nurture his God-given talent.

Today, he paints professionally and mentors other young artists. His artwork on this Christmas card shines with the light of Christ—hope restored through love, faith, and opportunity.
