THIS FRIDAY, our community comes together for one of the most important evenings of the year.

In 2025, TAP provided more than 10,200 hours of programming, helping individuals with aphasia rebuild communication, confidence, and connection after stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological disorders.

Every ticket purchased, raffle entry submitted, and donation made helps make these life-changing programs possible.

There is still time to join us.

🎟️ Gala tickets: onecau.se/tapspeakeasy

June is Aphasia Awareness Month! “Week 3: How to Support Communication.” Using short, clear language is not “talking down” to someone — it helps support communication access. Tip: Use short, clear sentences and share one idea at a time.

June is Aphasia Awareness Month! “Week 2: What Aphasia Looks Like.” Someone with aphasia may know exactly what they want to say but struggle to get the words out. You might see pauses, gestures, or descriptions instead of the exact word. Encourage all forms of communication!
