🥳🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR CEO AND CO-FOUNDER, WES HALL! 🎉🎈

Today, we are celebrating the incredible heart, vision, and leadership behind North Carolina Adapted Sports!

What Wes and his late co-founder, Tony Luparello, have built in just four years is nothing short of amazing. Because of Wes's tireless mentorship, we’ve watched athletes of all ages develop incredible confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships. NCAS is what it is today because of Wes’s incredible attitude- and that signature "Make It Happen" spirit that Tony instilled from day one. 💙

Let’s flood the comments with birthday love! Help us show Wes just how much he is appreciated.

👇 Drop a birthday wish below, and please consider making a donation so we can continue providing free and low-cost adaptive sports to athletes across the Triangle!

We had ideal race conditions today! We are so proud of all of the athletes who came out to Kanata CX Race! For the first time ever, adaptive riders were able to race right alongside the upright bikes. We owe a huge thank you to board member and race director Stephen Knight for putting on such an amazing race. Also, huge thank you to Oak City Cycling Project and North Carolina Bicycle Club for helping out, and to YMCA of the Triangle for allowing us to use the beautiful area of Camp Kanata!

More pictures to come- stay tuned!

Have FOMO? Join us at CX-Mas Race in December at Dorothea Dix Park! Details to come.

When Professor Nathan Williams NC State Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management asked for a guest speaker to share adapted sports with his intro class, we had the PERFECT guy in mind.

Carson: Volunteer from day one. Brother of an adapted athlete. Advocate for disability inclusion. NC State student. All-around great young man.

He, of course, in true ‘Carson-style’, jumped at the opportunity to share the mission of NC Adapted Sports and the impact adapted sports have had, not just on his sister, but on his whole family and the community.

The presentation went so well, Carson is already booked to come back and do it again in the spring semester!

Inclusion and equity begin with awareness. Grateful to Professor Williams for understanding the importance of opening the minds of his students to recreation for ALL and to Carson for being part of the change making it happen!
