I stopped by a food and supplies drive hosted by Raleigh With Us in support of Project Access.

They were giving out food and cleaning supplies, especially for workers in the cleaning industry who can use those supplies to lower their overhead costs.

I also got to talk with Daylor, the founder of Raleigh With Us, about their work in workforce development, community engagement, and bringing young people together to serve the communities they come from.

A reminder that so much of the work that keeps our communities going is done by regular people that show up to help their neighbors.

serves up authentic Thai dishes with recipes passed down from the chef’s great-grandmother, who once cooked for the Thai king.

There are plenty of great Thai restaurants in the Raleigh area, but I’m comfortable saying that this is truly one of the best and most authentic.

If you go, don’t miss out on the dessert! They make their coconut cake from scratch every day, and it’s truly unlike any other you’ll find around here.

Join the City of Raleigh for this free family friendly event, the 5th annual Raleigh Earth Day, an evening dedicated to environmental stewardship, sustainability, and connection.

Explore earth-conscious vendors, enjoy live performances and hands-on activities, celebrate local environmental leaders, and end the night with an inspirational film on the big screen under the stars.
