Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, faith, and contributions of Hispanic communities that strengthen our families, parishes, and communities across North Carolina.

The Catholic faith connects us across cultures and generations. We give thanks for the many Hispanic Catholics who share their gifts, traditions, and devotion, enriching the life of our Church and helping build a stronger community for generations to come.

From cherished traditions and family celebrations to acts of service and faith, we celebrate the many ways Hispanic heritage reflects the beauty of our Catholic community.

May we continue to grow together in faith, hope, and love.

Happy Birthday, Pope Leo XIV!

Today, we give thanks to God for the gift of Pope Leo XIV and pray for him as he continues his ministry of serving the Church and faithfully guiding Catholics around the world.

May God bless him with wisdom, strength, courage, and grace as he leads the Church and shares a message of faith, hope, and unity.

On this special day, let us join Catholics around the world in prayer for our Holy Father and his continued service to the Church.

Happy Birthday, Holy Father! May God bless you abundantly and guide you always.

On September 11, we remember the lives lost and honor the courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the days that followed.

Today, the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh gives thanks for the first responders, volunteers, service members, families, and communities who demonstrated extraordinary strength and selflessness. Their example reminds us of the power of kindness, generosity, and standing together in support of one another.

May we continue to honor their memory by choosing hope, serving our neighbors, and working together to build a more peaceful and compassionate world.

Did you know you can use your IRA to protect your family’s future in a whole new way?

During Life Insurance Awareness Month, many families are exploring creative estate planning strategies. One powerful approach is designating the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh or (your favorite parish, school, or ministry); as the beneficiary of your IRA, while using your current IRA income or required minimum distributions (RMDs) to fund a life insurance policy for your loved ones.

It’s a thoughtful way to provide tax-advantaged support for your favorite local Raleigh causes while securing financial peace of mind for your family.

Curious how this strategy could fit into your legacy plans? Reach out to our team today at 919-568-1065 to start the conversation or visit https://foundationdor.org/foundation/planned-giving for more information.

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month!

Protect the people you love. Then consider the legacy you can leave behind.

Life insurance is first and foremost about providing for your family. It can help protect your loved ones, replace income, cover expenses, and provide financial security when they need it most.

This Life Insurance Awareness Month, take a moment to review your policy and make sure your beneficiary designations reflect your wishes.

Once your family and loved ones are cared for, you may also consider naming a Catholic organization as a beneficiary of all or a portion of your policy.

A gift to the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh can help support the Catholic ministries and causes that are meaningful to you, creating a legacy of faith that continues for generations.

Family first. Faith always. A legacy that lasts.
