JCF was honored to be a part of the Healing Transitions Freedom Harvest event this weekend.

This intimate celebration was a sit-down, family-style dinner prepared by Chef Scott Crawford and honored his ongoing recovery journey. Aligning with JCF's mission, all proceeds from the evening went to Healing Transitions to support the life-saving recovery services they provide to homeless, uninsured, and underserved individuals in our community.

One of JCF's favorite days! 🌈

JCF was thrilled to be a part of The Rainbow of Heroes Walk last weekend. This event commemorates and celebrates all Duke Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy (PTCT) patients and their families. It is a reunion for patients, families, medical staff, volunteers, and supporters who have come to know each other through the months-long transplant process. Our JCF team was happy to provide a photo booth so everyone could remember the day and make new memories!

JCF loves the Helen Wright Center! 🧡

What a night full of food, community, and fun! We always love spending time with the women at HWC, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. And since they requested those taco bowls again, we're feeling pretty confident they were a hit! 🌮

A huge thank you to our amazing JCF Champions who showed up with full hearts, ready to serve delicious food and share love with all who attended!

JCF is back again for one of our favorite events of the year! The 26th Annual Duke Rainbow of Heroes Walk 🌈.

This is an emotional and impactful day as transplant families are remembered and honored. JCF is a proud sponsor of this event for the 4TH YEAR, and we need JCF champions to greet families 👋, make and serve popcorn 🍿, and work the photo booth 📸.

REMINDER! We need JCF Champions on September 8th at the Helen Wright Center to help serve taco bowls and to provide food donations to create this delicious feast!

Helen Wright Center for Women (HWCW) is the only low-barrier facility in Wake County dedicated exclusively to serving single adult women, without custody of children, experiencing homelessness. It empowers women to move from homelessness to stable housing and long-term self-sufficiency.
