Thank you to every JCF Champion who donated supplies and their time to make this week's Families Together Back-to-School Supply Drive a success!

Families Together shared, "This past Saturday, we had 23 kids from 11 families come to pick out supplies and enjoy the food. These kids got to play basketball, run around together on the playground, and pick out their own school supplies — in other words, they got to just be kids! When families are navigating homelessness, children don't always get that chance."

This is why JCF loves to partner with Families Together and our other partner organizations. We are better together than alone. Together, we are impacting the unhoused through demonstrations of Love and Justice!

The Jimmy Carroll Foundation's mission—to partner with nonprofits that tangibly address the issues impacting the unhoused—is only possible because of the incredible Key Partners who stand beside us every step of the way. Our friends at Families Together are hosting a fun event on August 15th
from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. to prepare their families for the new school year! Champions are needed to hand out school supplies and pantry food.

We are also looking for a face painter to make the event even more special! If you know someone with this skill or have it yourself, please let us know so we can connect you with this great opportunity.

School supplies are still needed; please bring them the day of the event:
- Fun, character backpacks for elementary schoolers
- Large, sturdy backpacks for middle/high schoolers (brands like MATEIN, JanSport, BlueFairy appreciated)
- College-ruled composition notebooks
- Plastic 2-pocket folders (colors red, yellow, green, blue, purple)
- Headphones or earbuds
- Paper towels
- Tissues
- Hand sanitizer
- Mechanical pencils
