Every investment in a young person creates a ripple that can last for generations.

Today’s Teen Court volunteer could become tomorrow’s attorney.

Today’s Leadership Academy student could become tomorrow’s teacher.

Today’s mentee could become tomorrow’s business owner.

Today’s young leader could become tomorrow’s mayor, nonprofit director, first responder, or community advocate.

That’s why we do this work.

Not because we’re focused only on who our students are today…

But because we believe in who they’re becoming.

At Molding Young Moguls, we’re planting seeds that will continue to grow long after our programs end.

We’re building leaders who will strengthen families, serve their communities, solve problems, and inspire others to do the same.

Because the greatest legacy we can leave isn’t a building or a program.

It’s the next generation of leaders who will continue making Hoke County stronger than they found it.

The future isn’t something we inherit.

It’s something we build—together.

So… what exactly IS Leadership Academy? 🤔

It’s not tutoring.

It’s not a behavior program.

And your child doesn’t have to be “in trouble” to belong here.

Hoke County Leadership Academy is a space for young people to grow into who they’re becoming.

Twice a month, youth ages 11–17 come together for real conversations, interactive workshops, mentorship, and experiences designed to help them navigate real life.

We talk about things like:

💬 Communication & relationships
🧠 Decision-making & problem-solving
💪🏾 Confidence & self-awareness
🤝 Accountability & responsibility
🎯 Goals, choices & their future
👑 Leadership — at school, at home, and in their community

Some sessions look like workshops.

Some look like a room full of teenagers having conversations adults don’t always realize they need a safe place to have.

Some involve getting out into the community, meeting leaders, trying something new, or discovering strengths they didn’t know they had.

The goal isn’t to create perfect kids.

It’s to help young people become more confident, capable, accountable, and prepared for whatever comes next.

And sometimes, having another positive room to grow in can make all the difference.

Enrollment is officially OPEN! 🎓💜❤️💛

We’re welcoming a new cohort of young leaders into the Hoke County Leadership Academy for the 2026–27 program year!

This is more than somewhere for your child to go twice a month. It’s a space for them to grow.

To build confidence.
To have real conversations.
To strengthen leadership and life skills.
To connect with mentors and other young people.
And to have adults in their corner who genuinely want to see them succeed.

And remember—your child doesn’t have to be “in trouble” to need support. Sometimes the best intervention is investment.

Our new cohort begins September 8 at Sandhills Community College’s Hoke Campus, and we are now accepting students ages 11–17.

It needs more young people with the courage to lead.

But leadership isn’t measured by popularity, a title, or the loudest voice in the room.

Real leadership is built on character.

It’s choosing integrity when no one is watching.

It’s showing compassion when others are hurting.

It’s taking responsibility for your actions.

It’s standing up for what’s right—even when it’s difficult.

It’s serving others before serving yourself.

At Molding Young Moguls, we’re not just preparing students for success.

We’re helping them become the kind of leaders our families, schools, workplaces, and communities can depend on.

Because when character leads…

Everything else follows.

Every young leader has a story.

And somewhere in that story…

There was an adult who believed in them.

A teacher who refused to give up.

A coach who saw their potential.

A parent who kept showing up.

A mentor who listened.

A community member who opened a door.

None of us become who we’re meant to be alone.

At Molding Young Moguls, we believe the greatest investment we can make in young people isn’t just through programs…

It’s through relationships.

When caring adults choose to encourage, mentor, support, and believe in a young person, lives change.

Not because they have all the answers.

But because they show up.

Together, we’re creating a community where every young person has someone in their corner.

More exposure to what’s possible.
More chances to lead.

That’s why the Hoke County Leadership Academy exists.

Yesterday, we gave you a glimpse inside Hoke County Teen Court.

But Teen Court is only one part of the story.

At Molding Young Moguls, we’re building more than programs. We’re building a place where young people can find their people.

A place to build confidence without having it all figured out. To discover their voice. Practice leadership. Make mistakes. Try again. Laugh, learn and grow alongside people who are genuinely invested in who they’re becoming.

Sometimes that looks like standing in a courtroom learning to advocate.

Sometimes it’s a leadership conversation around a table.

Sometimes it’s a mentor reminding a young person what they’re capable of.

And sometimes, it’s simply laughing together, making memories with people who started as strangers and became community.

That’s MYM.

Yes, we develop leaders.

But young people also need places where they feel seen, supported, challenged and connected.

They need people who believe there’s something worth developing in them—even while they’re still discovering it themselves.

And we’re making room for more. ❤️💜💛
