Radford Band Boosters will once again be participating in Give Local NRV Day noon to noon June 24 - 25. When you donate through GiveLocalNRV, which is hosted by the Community Foundation of the New River Valley, it also puts us in the running for various grants and prizes. Donations can be made through our specific GiveLocalNRV website, STARTING JUNE 1ST and can be made via credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, PayPal or your bank account (ACH). Joining marching band can be overwhelming! Want to be involved, but not sure how? Have lots of questions and just need to know where to start? Whether you are a seasoned parent or a beginner, we have the meeting for you to get all of your questions answered! Our snapraise fundraiser wrapped up last month and a big thank you and congrats go out to our prize winners for raising the most funds:

1st Natalie Greene - prize $100

2nd Noah Morris - prize $50

3rd Caleb Sams - prize $25

We also had a drawing that each student who participated by entering 20 emails/texts were entered into. The winner of the drawing was:

Yesterday, we wrapped up our 2025-2026 season with our final performance at the Radford VFW's Memorial Day service. Afterwards, we had our year end picnic and awards banquet, where the following awards were given:

Director's Award--Joseph Epley, Braden McClaskey

National School Marching Award--Ariel Sutphin, Sienna Carter

Quincy Jones Musicianship Award--Leslie Epley, Seth Baron

Patrick Gilmore--Benjamin Harvey

John Philip Sousa Award--Triston Lineberry

In addition to these awards, each 1st year member received their school letter and years 2 through 5 received bars for their years of service. Students who went above and beyond by volunteering at our in person fundraisers also received a pin and recognition.

We also announced our officers for the 2026-27 season:
