We not only rescue horses we use our rehabilitated rescue horses to provide trail rides for the community! Our Ride-A-Rescue horseback riding program was started to help support our rescue horses, as part of their rehabilitation. This program was designed to be a fun community activity that is helpful for the horses as well. Not only do our customers get to enjoy their ride, but will also give a horse that once had no future, a job and a purpose. All proceeds go towards the horses care. How’s that for a win-win? We’ll show you how! We specialize in beginners of all ages. Trail rides run all year long, anytime during the week or weekend. Just let us know when you want to ride, and we’ll get you out on horseback! Rides range from one to three hours in length. Join us for a ride on our breathtaking trails where you will pass through landscapes of dense forest to windswept ridge tops. Enjoy the abundant blooms of native rhododendron in the spring or the lush greens of summer. Revel in the vibrant colors of the fall or enjoy the extraordinary views of winter riding. Some of our trails take you from mountaintop pastures right down to the New River where your horse can wade to cool off.

🚨 Supporting One of Our Own 🚨
One of the sweetest loving people that we consider to be part of our farm family is in need of our support. Earlier this week, Deanna Sumners and her family experienced a devastating house fire and lost everything.
While we are heartbroken over the loss of their home, we are incredibly grateful to share that everyone survived (except their family cat 😢) and they still have each other. In the aftermath of such a challenging time, we want to wrap our community's arms around them and show our support.
If you are able and interested in helping them rebuild, please consider donating through their GoFundMe page:

Please keep Deanna and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this incredibly difficult chapter. Thank you all for being such a caring community.

Behind the scenes of the daily grind.

From sun up to sun down, the work never stops. This is what it takes every single day to keep our incredible herd healthy, happy, and ready for our community.

Today is Giving Day, and our mission is simple: Funding the Fleet.

From the hay that fuels them to the essential care that keeps them moving, every dollar raised directly sustains the horses who give so much to all of us. We can’t do this heavy lifting or this rescue work without you.
