Leadership in Action! 🎤✨

We had a fantastic turnout at last week’s Gilded Tongues Hardin County Toastmasters Club meeting! (Look at this packed room!)

Shoutout to our own Cory Gray for keeping the evening moving seamlessly as our Toastmaster of the Day.

We were honored to welcome a very special guest: Roopesh Nichenametla, our local District 11 Area Director! Roopesh gave us an exciting look into the future of Toastmasters in our region. Thank you for your visit!

We also heard from Joe Redmon and Connie Wade, who are both using Toastmasters to sharpen the skills needed for future leadership positions in our community. (Great work, Joe and Connie!)

Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or just trying to lose the "stage fright" jitters, we’d love to have you join us at our table.

Leadership is Built on the Practice Field

Happy President's Day! Today we honor the leaders who shaped a nation, but we also recognize the hard work behind their words.

Did you know that many of our most famous Presidents practiced their communication skills with the same dedication we see at Gilded Tongues Toastmasters?

Abraham Lincoln used to "read aloud" everything he wrote to hear how the words resonated, essentially performing a self-evaluation before ever stepping in front of a crowd.

John F. Kennedy was known for his meticulous preparation, often timing his speeches and refining his delivery to ensure every word landed with impact.

Ronald Reagan, "The Great Communicator," relied on a structured approach and constant rehearsal to turn complex ideas into relatable messages.

At Toastmasters, we follow in these footsteps. We believe that confidence in the workplace and community is a result of a supportive and positive learning experience where you can practice, fail, and grow.
