The Racine Symphony Orchestra’s Artist-in-Residence program is a cornerstone of its education and community engagement efforts. In the week leading up to the concert, the Artist-in-Residence brings music beyond the concert hall—visiting schools, performing in community settings, and sharing music with residents in senior care facilities, helping to connect people of all ages through live performance.
Celebrate the richness and beauty of live orchestral music with the Racine Symphony Orchestra’s Fall Concert: Mozart & More. Set in the warm acoustics of First Presbyterian Church, this program pairs timeless classical tradition with an engaging and accessible concert experience.
Featured on the program is this season’s Artist-in-Residence, Linda Nielsen-Korducki, performing Mozart Flute Concerto No. 1. Elegant, lyrical, and full of character, this beloved concerto showcases both the expressive artistry of the flute and Mozart’s unmistakable brilliance.
Also not to be missed will be Haydn’s brilliant "Morning" Symphony no. 6, as well as Gustav Holst’s Saint Paul’s Suite and Danish composer Carl Nielsen’s ‘Little Suite’ for strings.
A Pre-Concert Talk will be given at 6:30 prior to the music, and our afterglow celebration will take place at Uncorkt following the concert (240 Main St, Racine)
As a reminder, students 18 and younger have a discounted admission price of only $5 and for children 12 & under admission is free!
