Racine Symphony Orchestra Racine Symphony Orchestra Founded in 1932, the Racine Symphony Orchestra is the oldest orchestra in continuous operation in the state of Wisconsin.

The Racine Symphony Orchestra is dedicated to preserving our musical heritage by entertaining, educating and enriching audiences and musicians in our community. Begun by Frederick Schulte, who served as conductor for many years, the orchestra has performed under the batons of Dudley Powers, Stephen Colburn, David Becker, Alexander Platt, Andrew Massey and Richard Carsey. RSO is currently led by Artistic Director Pasquale Laurino.
