Professional Women's Network for Service PWNS PWNS promotes volunteerism in improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Our organization reached out to all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest and a commitment to volunteerism. PWNS is recognized for our focused efforts on projects that enhance the well being of women and children. Signature Projects:

What a fabulous time at the 2026 Juneteenth Sneaker Ball! The PWNS Sisters are always proud to support community organizations and celebrate the spirit of unity, culture, and service.

A special thank you to the City of Racine Juneteenth Committee for hosting an outstanding event, to Miss Wisconsin for her beautiful rendition of Lift Every Voice and Sing, and congratulations to our 2026 Miss and Mr. Juneteenth.

👑 MISS JUNETEENTH 2026 👑
The Professional Women’s Network for Service (PWNS) and the City of Racine Juneteenth Committee are proud to introduce Miss Juneteenth 2026, Jenessa Robins!

Jenessa is a graduating senior at J.I. Case High School and will receive her diploma on June 7, 2026. This fall, she will attend UW–Stout to pursue a degree in Nursing, continuing her passion for serving others and making a difference through healthcare.

Throughout her high school journey, Jenessa has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and service. She is an active member of the Black Student Union, an executive member of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), and serves as the Bassist Section Leader in her school orchestra. Her accomplishments and commitment to helping others make her an outstanding representative for Miss Juneteenth.

The title of Miss Juneteenth is more than a crown, it is a symbol of pride, leadership, and excellence. It recognizes young women who embrace the spirit of Juneteenth through service, cultural awareness, educational achievement, and a commitment to uplifting their communities.

Birthing Project invites all pregnant women and mothers to our Sister2Sister Session on JUNE 24th. Birthing Project Sister Friends are there when the baby is born and continue this family relationship until the child is 1-year old.

Celebrating Juneteenth!
PWNS Education Committee celebrated Juneteenth during our June Babe LITS (Literature Inspires Tools for Success) program at Julian Thomas School. A special thank you to our Education Chair, Tonya Wilson, for doing an outstanding job creating a meaningful and engaging project for the students.

Together, we honored the significance of Juneteenth by celebrating freedom, liberty, and the enduring strength of our history and culture. Through education and reflection, we continue to inspire future generations to appreciate the importance of this historic day.
