Eco-Justice Center The Eco-Justice Center is a 15 acre environmental education center and organic farm.

As one of five sponsored ministries of the Racine Dominicans, Eco-J offers programming for lifelong learning designed to encourage exploration, connect people with sustainable growing practices, and promote healthier ecosystems that restore right relationships. Our programs encourage participants of all ages, faiths, races and socio-economic backgrounds to learn from the wisdom of Nature.

🥚 Your weekend breakfast called. It wants farm eggs. And while you’re here, it wouldn’t mind some fresh garden goodies too! 🌿🌸

If you’ve been meaning to stop by the Eco-J farmhouse, this is your sign! Our porch is stocked with fresh eggs from our flock, plus whatever produce and flowers are ready to harvest from the garden. Every week will be a little different depending on what’s growing, so come see what’s fresh!

Stop by the farmhouse porch Saturday from 9 AM–2 PM to pick up some farm-fresh goodness.

🥚 Eggs — $5/dozen
🌿 Fresh produce & flowers — available while supplies last
🪺 First come, first served
🐓 Limit 1 dozen of eggs per family

Egg sizes and colors vary depending on the ages and breeds of our girls, so every carton is a little different.

We’ll have fresh produce and flowers available every Saturday from now through the end of the growing season! Come for the eggs, browse the garden harvest, and stay for a peek at the farm. 💛🌻🐓

We’re officially one week away from our September 10th Pacas & Pints at the Eco-Justice Center! If you’ve been looking for an excuse to spend a Thursday evening outside, this is it. 😉

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and come hang out by the alpaca pasture with Eddie and his buddies while enjoying an evening of live music, local food, and drinks.

🌻 Make a bouquet, sip some w**e, and enjoy an hour on the farm! 🍷💐

Join us Saturday, October 3rd from 1:30–2:30 PM for a relaxing afternoon at the Eco-Justice Center’s Bouquet Bar!

Choose from beautiful, organically grown blooms from the farm and create a hand-tied bouquet that’s uniquely yours. EJC’s Land Stewardship Manager, Alex Weyenberg, will be there to guide you through selecting, arranging, and combining flowers—so no flower-arranging experience is needed!

Enjoy a refreshing drink while you work, with w**e and NA beverages available for purchase throughout the experience. Then head home with a little piece of the farm to brighten your space. 🌿

It’s the last day before school starts, so why not spend a few of those final summer hours at the farm? Eco-J is open today from 8 AM–4 PM for visitors to walk the grounds, say hello to the animals from outside their enclosures, and enjoy the beautiful weather.

🍂 Fall Felting Classes are OPEN for Registration! 🧶

Looking for a cozy, creative way to spend a fall morning? Join Sr. Janet Weyker, an expert needle-felter, for a hands-on class where you'll learn how to turn colorful wool and barbed needles into your very own three-dimensional felted creation!

This fall, choose from three fun projects:

🎃 Pumpkins — Saturday, October 24 | 9:30 AM–12 PM
🪨 Wishing Stones — Saturday, November 7 | 9:30 AM–12 PM
⛄ Snowmen — Saturday, December 5 | 9:30 AM–12 PM

No experience necessary! You'll leave with a felted masterpiece you made yourself plus a barbed needle to keep creating at home.

Classes are open to ages 12 & up (participants under 18 must attend with a participating adult).

The full moon has come and gone, and our hens are still hard at work! 🌕🐓🥚 Luckily for us, they’re not the only ones keeping busy—the garden is getting in on the action, too! 🌿🌸

Starting this week, you’ll find fresh produce and flowers from the Eco-J garden for sale alongside our farm-fresh eggs on the farmhouse porch. We’ll have whatever is ready to harvest each week, so you never quite know what garden goodies you’ll find!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, bid on silent auction items, and purchased sweepstakes tickets. Your generosity directly supports the work happening at Eco-J—from caring for our animals and gardens to providing hands-on environmental education and creating meaningful experiences for our community.
