Village of Mount Pleasant Sounds at Sunset is on tonight. Come on out and see Jay Mathes band and come see the Racine Founder's Rotary Club serving in the beer and wine tent.

At Rotary yesterday we celebrated another Past President Scott Hess presenting him with a Paul P Harris Fellow pin and certificate. Then we honored Gretchen Carlson from Walden Robotics FRC Team 6643 for her dedication to the students at Walden School and the devotion she has had toward our Rotary Carreer Discovery Solutions program, CDS as we say. She received a Paul P Harris Fellow Pin and certificate along with a Racine Founder's Rotary Club Foundation grant given to the Walden Robotics team to help them with future programs and competitions. We then heard from the Students about the Robotics and learning about the past and present team competitions and the development of the Robotics for future events. The students are amazing and love what they do.

ROTARY through the years.

Today's Rotary Club meeting was at Wingspread Conference center. Our speakers were Markus White and Ashley Staeck of the Johnson Foundation. They shared Foundation history and then shared information about a collaboration of community leaders and volunteers coming together to discuss and create answers for specific needs of the Racine Community most effected by lack of food, parenting help, financial issues and rejoining the community after incarceration. If anyone is interested in knowing more contact Ashley Staeck at the Johnson Foundation.

At Racine Founder's Rotary Club we celebrated our 2 new members Rachel Martinez and Nicholas Verhaalen standing with President Daniel Widmar. Welcome them and we hope they enjoy their Rotary experiences. Service Above Self. We also celebrated with Dave Easley and Congratulationed him for 50 years of Rotary service.

We heard lots of great Racine County information Friday from our Racine County Executive Ralph Malicki. Housing, new treatment facility and an all in one Call Center for better response times and coordinating resources of First Responders.
We had lots of Proud dollars put in from members, everything from business to proud family moments.
