"Developing Women to Do a World of Good" is a key part of The Junior League mission.

Our members are women interested in bettering their community, and through formal, informal, and experiential training opportunities, we help them discover and develop the skills to maximize their impact.

The Junior League of Racine president, pictured here, is currently at the Small Leagues, Big Impact conference in St. Louis, taking workshops (formal trainings) and discussion groups (informal trainings) on (among others):

* Robert's Rules
* Finance fundamentals and the role of Treasurers
* Building an inclusive culture
* Graphic design, marketing and communication tools
* Board governance
* Community impact and lasting volunteerism
* Membership growth and development

We want to shout out a huge THANK YOU to Craft Party Co and owner Shayna Bayna for our awesome Very Hungry Caterpillar balloon decor for yesterday's Party on the Pavement, hosted by Downtown Racine!

It was wonderful to celebrate The Junior League FIND the GOOD DAY by hosting read-alongs of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and giving away more than 500 kid-colored bookmarks, temporary tattoos, and kid-friendly recipe cards, all to help foster a love of reading for Racine County kids! ❤️
