A foggy morning at Wadewitz Nature Park in Rochester, WI (Racine County). The mist settling among the trees made for a quiet, beautiful place to explore and photograph.

I’ll be sharing a short video from the park later today… stay tuned!

We’re grateful for United Way of Racine County and the role they’ve played in helping our program grow.

Without their support, Racine Video Production Workshop wouldn’t be where it is today. United Way has sponsored our program and connected us with businesses and organizations throughout the years, helping us provide meaningful opportunities for students in our student-led media production program.

Thank you, United Way of Racine County, for believing in our students and supporting their creativity.

Recent Case High School graduate "Juan" joined Racine Video Production Workshop with an interest in video production and a desire to explore creative careers. Over three years of hands-on experience, Juan developed technical skills, strengthened his communication and gained the confidence to bring his ideas to life. That experience helped Juan see what was possible for his future. He applied to Carthage College to pursue his passion for film.

Juan’s story is about more than learning video production. It’s about finding a passion, building confidence and discovering a path toward a future he’s excited about.

A little throwback to the early days of the Racine Video Production Workshop! 🎭🎥

When we first started, we worked hand-in-hand with the Case High School 's Theatre program, led by Nancy Gibson.

One of our earliest projects was capturing photos and video of their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

It was a great opportunity for our crew to get hands-on experience documenting a live theatrical production while showcasing the incredible talent of local students.

Here are some photos from that early collaboration!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Podcasting 101 workshop with WWBIC [ wwbic ]! We had a great time teaching, discussing video podcasting ideas, and letting local entrepreneurs give video podcasting a try together.

A big thank-you to WWBIC Southeast Office for helping make the workshop possible, and to everyone who came ready to participate. We hope you left feeling inspired to tell your story!
