Belle City Rifles

Belle City Rifles The Belle City Rifles were founded with the idea of portraying the men of the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, Company F in a meaningful way. F, 2nd Regt.

The Belle City Rifles is an authentic, campaign-style Civil War reenacting organization that portrays Co. Wisconsin Vol, the premier regiment of the famed Iron Brigade of the West, which was quite likely the best fighting brigade of any army in the War of the Rebellion. The Belle City Rifles bases Its Impression on research, scholarship and historical documentation to portray a Civil War unit at t

he company level. The unit makes use of authentic and consistent uniforming and equipage, the correct drill, accurate camp life activities and scenarios, and the first person portrayals of the original Belle City Rifles.
