Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License or eligible to be licensed in the State of Wisconsin.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Be at least 21 years of age at time of graduation from the Police Academy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 60 fully accredited college level credits within 5 years of the date of hire pursuant to LES 2.01(1)(e).

Note: The City of Racine has no residency requirements for employees. Out-of-State certified officers are required to successfully complete the Wisconsin Reciprocity Exam prior to the Police and Fire Commission Interviews. Possess or obtain a valid Wisconsin driver's license upon appointment.

Salary: $34.10 - $45.11 Per Hour

Work Schedule:
- 10.5 hour work day
- 4 days on/4 days off

***Reunited with family***

Unidentified Man Found in Yorkville; Racine County Sheriff's Office Seeking Public's Help

The Racine County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying an unidentified man who was found Thursday morning in the Village of Yorkville.

According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies made contact with the man at approximately 8:45 a.m. near Durand Avenue (State Highway 11) and 57th Drive.

Investigators believe the man may not speak English. He appears to be asking for his mother in another language, possibly Somali.

The man is described as:

*Black male
*Approximately 5'10" to 6'0" tall
*About 170 pounds
*Brown eyes
*Black hair (mostly bald)
*Chipped front tooth

At the time he was located, he was wearing:

*Gray sweatpants
*Dark gray T-shirt
*Sandals

Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information that could help identify him or locate his family is asked to contact the Racine County Dispatch Center non-emergency line at (262) 886-2300 and reference Incident #26-30700.
