On Monday, Memorial Day, VFW post 5659 in concert with our community members, will present our annual memorial day program at 10 AM in the first Presbyterian Church behind the Quitman courthouse. All are invited. Please join us as we honor all our deceased veterans.

This coming Saturday, May 23, VFW post 5659 will be placing flags around the courthouse in Quitman. We invite any and all from the community to come and help and show your patriotism in advance of Memorial Day and Independence Day. We will meet at the post at 9995 Greenville Highway, Quitman, at 7 AM or you may join us up at the courthouse anytime from about 8 AM on. We look forward to seeing you at this community event.
