Going to be cold, cold, cold in the next few days. We need to remember those less fortunate than us. Warming centers are being opened everywhere for the ones that have no home. If you have any blankets, quilts, coats or anything that you was planning on donating anyway, please drop them off to these warming shelters. We never know when we are in the presence of Angels.

Haven't posted in quite sometime, been busy and that's no excuse. Got through the holidays with the Blessing Tree and that was a huge success again this year. We managed to help 14 families and that included 32 kids. We joined in with New Life this year and that was a new experience for all of us. All in all it was a good year. Looking forward to 2015 being even better.
Still taking donations for whatever the cause may be and hopefully we will have some yard sales and fund raisers this year so stay tuned.... Phil 4:13

Been down in the dumps for the last few days, but I know that God has brought me through this storm and is helping me deal with my own personal demons. This has been a beautiful day and I am so happy to be able to thank God for yet another beautiful day. Spending time with my Mom and my grand kids is so special to me. Tomorrow start a new month and hopefully more good weather... God Bless everyone...

There are people hurting everywhere for one reason or the other. The reason alone is not for us to decide or judge or even know what it is. Whatever it is though, people are antagonizing and worrying over it and it is important to them. We all know someone like this. So today please take a few minutes out of your day and pray for this person.

In the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26

It has been so long since I have been on this page and I apologize for my neglect. I have let life get in the way. I am now taking care of my Mother , who has been sick off and on for a year now. We have good days and bad days, but all in all we get through them with the strength of out Heavenly Father. I have somewhat cleaned out the annex and it is almost empty, so that I can start over fresh with new donations and things like that... I have still got some cleaning out to do , but if the weather ever makes up its mind then I can get in there and do what I need to do. I hope to start posting more frequently and I would love feed back from each and every one of you my Christian friends.

Hi everyone, Here we go again, but none the less early in the season or not we have to help our Brothers in need. I have just spoke to Toomers for Tuscaloosa. Holly and I have told her that we have a drop point here in West Jefferson and that I am willing to get things to the area. So if anyone in this area has anything please get in touch with me. Hi everyone, Been awhile since I have posted. In Feb. we will have a Community wide Valentine's Banquet at the old West Jefferson High School. That should be a lot of fun with all the fellowship with everyone. I can hardly wait. At that time I will be passing out bulletins because we will be hosting a Community Wide Donation and the droop point will be at the Annex at the Old West Jefferson High School , which is now really the Community Center. We will announce more about this later. Seasons are changing and it will be getting warmer, believe it or not, before too long and we still have people in the community and surrounding areas that still need our help.. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Haven't been on here in a few weeks. Been busy taking care of hubby who had to have unplanned gallbladder surgery. Praise GOD he is well and gooing back to work tomorrow. So now I can get back on my mission and do my work for GOD as he has planned. We are still collecting Christmas decoration donations and I would like to have all that has been promised by the 10 th of December, so that the ones who are getting them will have a little time to enjoy them. I appreciate each and everyone of you who has donated Christmas decorations. Please keep them coming in. Thanks and God Bless!!!
