This year with so many changes happening with our league, we have another announcement! Our wonderful photographer, Curtis, has decided to take a bit of break this season!

That being said we have an awesome photographer that has taken micro-soccer photos for the City of Quincy for the last 10 years! Her background in photography is impressive and we are confident that she will do a fantastic job!

A couple really cool things to know about this change:

⭐️ No more photo order forms to fill out! A link will be sent out to all parents after photos for your child’s age group are DONE! There you will find your kiddos team and individual picture!

⭐️ This link will take you directly to her website where you can pick and choose what you’d like to purchase!

⭐️ If you purchase prints from the website they will be delivered directly to your home! No more giving picture packets to coaches to divvy out! This lessens the chances of not getting what you pay for!

⭐️ Photographers recommendation is the digital download but there are so many option to choose from mugs to blankets to magnets, literally anything you need!

As always if you have ANY questions please feel free to reach out to us with a PM! You can also ask your kiddos coach and if they don’t know the answer, they will find out for you!

We are currently looking for umpires for Little League games in Quincy, both TONIGHT and for future games in the Minors and Majors divisions.

TONIGHTS game will be umpiring for Minors at 5:45!

If you are available or know someone who might be interested, please let us know. This is a great way to support the kids and the program.

Pay is $65.00 per game.

It’s ⚾️BASEBALL⚾️ season!
And we ❤️LOVE❤️ it!

We have a few things we’d really like to share with you all! Please read ALL the following information!

1. 📋TBALL….ALL coaches have their rosters! Some tball coaches have reached out to their teams, and others may not have yet. But don’t worry!! They will within the next week! We really wanted to see more faces out there and we have heard that so many kiddos weren’t able to play because of micro-soccer. This year micro-soccer started a tad earlier and Tball is starting a tad later! How exciting is that! Game schedules have not been created yet but we are working on them and hope to have them ready by the end of next week and out to coaches!

2. ROOKIES……ALL coaches have their team rosters and most if not all have had at least 1 practice! If your kiddo is registered for Rookies and you have NOT heard from a coach yet, please reach out to us with a PM or email! (I’ll post it at the bottom, so keep reading 🙃)

3. MINORS….all coaches have rosters, have made contact, have been practicing and even started games! If you signed your kiddos up for Minors and have NOT heard from your coach, please reach out to us with a PM or email! (I’ll post it at the bottom, so keep reading 🤪)

4. MAJORS….all coaches have rosters, have made contact, have been practicing and games are in full (pun intended)!

5. 🏟️BABE RUTH…..Games are in FULL SWING and the boys are doing great out there representing Quincy!

5. 👕UNIFORMS….we want to be as transparent as we can! Our largest expense for the entire season is obviously going to be uniforms (a jersey and baseball hat). This year to help with that very large cost, the board made the decision to go a different route than in the past. That being said please bear with us as we work out quarks and kinks! Please reach out to us if there are ANY issues what so ever! Our job is to make that right! In doing so, we have saved enough donated funds to purchase new gear, gear bags, helmets, and catchers gear for several teams and we still have more to go!

Hey there you….it’s been a while 😮‍💨

😴 It may seem quite around here but let me tell ya…the things going on behind the scenes are something wild in nature!! 🦁🐊

🥴 We have been so busy putting teams together, designing and ordering jerseys, and some of our older teams have started practice!

☝🏻All that being said, we have some things we just NEED to tell you all about!

1. We are in need of team sponsors! We have several teams that are currently seeking sponsors! I’ll link our website where that can be done for anyone interested! 😉

2. T-Ball teams are currently being set and coaches will contact all TBall parents at the end of April! Rookies and Minors have teams set and some are already practicing! Majors first game is coming up in a few days. And Babe Ruth had their first game TONIGHT! (It was a hard fought game ending in a loss to Moses Lake Gold at 10-7. A bit of dusting off and they’ll see a win! 🤩)

3. Opening ceremonies will be announced in the next 7 days! 🗓️ Be on the look out for that information! 👀

Quincy Youth Baseball families,

We are nearing the end of our registration period, and overall our numbers are looking great. With just a few more players, we can balance teams out perfectly across divisions.

Division Updates

T-Ball
Numbers are looking strong. We are on track for 4–5 teams this season.

Rookies
The numbers look amazing. We currently have four teams, but adding one more player per team would balance things perfectly.

A big change this year for Rookies:
All Rookie games will be played in Quincy this season.

In previous years, Rookies, Minors, and Majors traveled to Ephrata for games. Thanks to increased participation in the Rookie age group, we are able to keep Rookie games here at home.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Ephrata Youth Baseball for accommodating our Rookie teams over the years and allowing our players the opportunity to compete.

Minors
Current numbers support two teams this year.

Majors
At this time, we have numbers for one team.

Minors and Majors will still travel to Ephrata — but here is the big news:

Through collaboration with Ephrata Youth Baseball, we will be hosting Ephrata games in Quincy this season.

We are excited for the opportunity to welcome Ephrata to our home fields and provide that experience for our players and families.

Babe Ruth (13–16 Division)
Big news for Babe Ruth — we currently have 18 registered players, which gives us two teams.

However, having only nine players per team can be challenging throughout the season. We would love to add more players to the Babe Ruth roster to provide depth and flexibility.

Any player born prior to May 1, 2013 and on or after May 1, 2009 is eligible for Babe Ruth 13–16 League competition.

If you know of anyone interested, please help spread the word.

Babe Ruth will be playing with Moses Lake Youth Baseball again this year.

Coaches Needed

We are still in major need of coaches across multiple divisions:

T-Ball Coaches

Two Rookie Coaches

Two Minors Coaches

Coaches will not have a registration fee.

If you have considered coaching but have not signed up yet, or if you have questions, please reach out. We are happy to help and support you through the process.

Our numbers are strong. A few more players and committed coaches will make this a fantastic season for Quincy Youth Baseball.
