🇺🇸🎶 What a great day celebrating America’s 250th anniversary!
The North Quincy High School and Quincy High School choirs performed a free community concert at the Thomas Crane Public Library before heading out on a historic Boston Harbor cruise. We were honored to sponsor the event and join the students for a fun and educational outing—with absolutely perfect weather!
The concert featured seven choirs performing a wide range of music, including Indigenous American music, patriotic songs, African American songs and spirituals, doo-wop, selections from The Great American Songbook, and songs of hope and democracy. Highlights included a Les Misérables medley and a community sing-along of “God Bless America.”
So proud of these talented students and the way they enrich our community through music, service, and civic engagement. 👏❤️
