There’s no better way to welcome our kids back to school than with a little ice cream! Each year, the wonderful volunteers from Church of St. Peter in Quincy kick off the first day of school at Chaddock with their annual Ice Cream Social. They bring plenty of delicious treats and a whole lot of joy for our kids to enjoy. We are so grateful to the Church of St. Peter volunteers for continuing this special tradition and helping make the first day of school for Chaddock children a little sweeter!

In mid-July, our Foster and Adoption services team got to witness a wonderful reunion: siblings in our foster care program joined back together with their birth parents! Their legal custody was returned, the case was closed, and our staff says there wasn’t a dry eye in the courtroom!

On any given Sunday, members of the Chaddock Children's Foundation team can be found providing pulpit supply to churches throughout the Illinois Great Rivers Conference and beyond, and throughout the week are frequently on the road speaking to various civic and church groups.

Having a Chaddock speaker at your group's meeting or in your church is a great way to stay connected to Chaddock's ministry, gives you an opportunity to ask questions about things you've always wanted to know, and learn more about how Chaddock staff are working every day to be 'the hands and feet' to our children and families.
