Today was a very special day for Military Machines of American Freedom as our Bell OH58 helicopter left the Quincy Airport hangar bound for Coastal Helicopters in Panama City. The helicopter will undergo one final inspection and then hopefully receive the necessary Federal Aviation Administration Certification for flight. A very big THANK YOU to Coastal Helicopters, Greg Clubbs, Paul Selby, Tony Sanders, James Williams, Russell Deese, Jim Bragdon and Wendy Vislocky for all the help to make this big day happen.

Today Military Machines of American Freedom supported the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles 10th Annual Veterans Recognition Day.
The Florida Highway Patrol displayed their latest vehicles including the " Fat Truck" All Terrain Vehicle and a Ford Mustang Pursuit Vehicle.
An outstanding ceremony was held honoring DHSMV military current and veteran employees.
Several veteran assistance organizations were also there show casing their programs.

Our 1967 Dodge M37B1 is back on the road again after many years of hibernation. Mechanical overhaul, new paint and new tires made the truck look like new. The truck will be added to our organization static display and parade vehicles.

The Military Machines of American Freedom team had a busy day today working on OH58 helicopter projects.

Our original military configuration OH58 helicopter is steadily working through all the FAA certification requirements. The helicopter is running well and properly.

Our second OH58 helicopter project, which is in civilian law enforcement configuration, is making progress with the turbine engine nearing completion of its re-assembly.

A very nice article was published in the Havana Herald newspaper describing our youth event conducted on Saturday at the Quincy Municipal Airport.

Today at the Quincy-Gadsden Airport, the Military Machines of American Freedom team provided the opportunity for youth with the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps and Scouting America to experience flight in a Cessna 172 airplane and ride in M998 Humvees, an M1078 Cargo Truck and an M1161 Growler military vehicles.
The cadets and scouts were also able to view and learn about the Vietnam era PBR River Patrol Boat and also the Military OH58 helicopter.

Saturday evening the Military Machines of American Freedom team supported the annual Red Cross fund raiser event. A WWII GPW jeep and an M998 Humvee were provided for the event entrance. It was a great event, well attended by supporters and much needed funds were raised for the Red Cross programs.

Today the Military Machines of American Freedom team provided support at the Awards Banquet of the John Paul Jones Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. A Stewart-Stevenson M1084 5-ton cargo truck and an AMG M998 Humvee were provided for display. An excellent meal was served after the cadets received awards for their outstanding accomplishments this year.

Last night, the Military Machines of American Freedom team supported the Blountstown Christmas Parade and carrying members of the local chapters of the American Legion and the VFW. There were a bunch of smiling, waving, and happy spectators enjoying the really great Christmas themed decorated vehicles and floats. The young folks really enjoyed seeing Halo's Master Chief! Our organization was rewarded with receiving second place in the float judging competition.

The Military Machines of American Freedom team participated in the Tallahassee Veteran's Day parade to honor all our military veterans. Boy Scout Troop 201 from Quincy rode in one the organization cargo trucks.
After the parade, everyone enjoyed some great fellowship and food at Golden Coral restaurant. Note: A special thank you to Jason Booth for some great parade photographs.

Saturday morning Military Machines of American Freedom provided military vehicles to support the Calhoun County Airport (F95) salute to military veterans and first responders Fly-In event.

The event showcased first responder exhibitors to include the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office, local volunter Fire Departments, and Life Flight helicopters. The American Legion and other military veterans groups were present.

The event included fire truck rides and face painting for the kids and a delicious pancake breakfast for all. A hangar was supplied by Coastal Helicopters for a comfortable dining area. A T-28 Trojan military aircraft was also on display.

Friday morning Military Machines of American Freedom provided military vehicles to support Canopy Oaks Elementary School with their school event to honor our military veterans.

The school did a wonderful job with a parade of the school children's parents and grandparents who are or were in the military.

The school also had a ceremony to raise the American flag with the kids citing the Pledge of Allegence and sang the Star Spangled Banner.
