South Shore School of Theatre

South Shore School of Theatre Theatre school for students ages 7-19 located in Quincy, MA. SSST offers programming for children of all ages throughout the year.

During the school year, students work on acting skills while during the summer they work on musical theatre skills. High schoolers can work with the youth musical during the summer to pay off part of their tuition. Middle schoolers can take special evening elective classes at half price. Youth actors perform a fully staged, costumed, and designed musical every summer!

It is almost Groundhog Day and Mr. Hog has some Fun Groundhog Facts that are also HINTS about our Summer Shows!

Play Along today, tomorrow, and Sunday, and the first two people to guess each show (the Youth and the Teen) will receive a $50 discount on our Summer Programming this year!

Every day until GROUNDHOG DAY (Feb 2) you will receive a hint disguised as a Groundhog Fact about what our Summer Musicals are...you may only guess ONCE between now and Feb 2 by emailing [email protected]. On the 2nd, we will officially announce and Registration will OPEN!

Although the facts are Groundhog-themed, no Groundhogs were harmed in the making of this game ;) ((And no, the musical is not GROUNDHOG DAY))

Calling all fairy tale folk and those with lots of layers! Join us next Friday July 25th at 7:00pm and Saturday July 26th at 2:00pm for our Summer Musical, SHREK! All performances take place at The Woodward School for Girls. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students 12 or under, and will be available to purchase at the door!
