"For years, the water we drank at home was contaminated. Diarrhea, parasites, and constant
illness became part of our daily life. Watching my children get sick felt almost normal… but
it never stopped hurting.

Today, everything is different. Since we received the filter, we drink clean water. My

Meet Bessy Martinez, Community Project Coordinator for the Mizata Foundation. In her role, Bessy oversees essential infrastructure and public health initiatives, including road improvements, recreational facility construction, and support for local vaccination campaigns, all made possible through strategic partnerships with schools, medical professionals, and community leaders.

Most recently, Bessy had the privilege of collaborating with the One Atta Time team to distribute 258 water filters to families in need. She was deeply impressed by their professionalism and dedication to ensuring every recipient was thoroughly trained on filter maintenance.

Clean drinking water is a fundamental necessity for the community Bessy serves. These filters aren't just a gift. They protect children from waterborne illnesses and help families achieve greater financial stability by eliminating the need to purchase water. The Mizata Foundation is incredibly grateful for this partnership.

Meet Gladys.

With a heart as big as her smile, she opened her home to the entire community. Her porch became a classroom, a meeting point, and a place of hope. This wasn't just a distribution. It was a neighborhood gathering rooted in love.

And it wasn't just about giving. It was about growing.

Led by incredible local leaders like Bessy, Ivis, and Carlos, these families didn't just walk away with a filter. They walked away with knowledge. They learned to assemble, maintain, and protect their new source of health.

Why does this matter?

- For the Wallet: No more spending hard-earned money on plastic water sachets.
- For the Future: Kids who don't get sick from water-related illnesses are kids who don't miss school.
- For the Joy: More energy to play, to run through the schools and soccer courts, and to just be children.
