Nineteen years ago, the Foundation started with just one fund. Through collaboration and community involvement, it has expanded to eight funds, enhancing its mission and impact within the community. The Foundation collaborated with groups and individuals to create initiatives that encompass a range of supportive actions, including scholarships, patient assistance programs, heart screenings for high school students, moments of connection for families during end-of-life care, and support for parents of individuals with autism. The heart of the QMG Foundation's mission and vision is to improve the health and well-being of our community. We are so grateful to have walked this journey with our amazing community. Your support and love have made every moment special.

Cheers to 19 incredible years!

Every child is different and has unique needs. The Great River Autism Connection's BOOST Grant program is designed to provide access to equipment, materials, and tools that enhance and enrich the daily lives of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Recently, a family used a BOOST grant award to purchase a nugget ice maker for their child to help regulate oral sensory behaviors. Access to the soft, chewy ice is just what the child needs to regulate, soothe, and comfort when stressed or overwhelmed.

GRAC is thrilled to have a program that helps individuals access the tools they need to elevate their daily lives.

A cancer diagnosis can create an unexpected financial burden that many people find hard to manage. Transportation expenses can significantly impact patients undergoing treatment. In our rural community, patients typically travel an average of 40 miles for their treatments. For those who need to make frequent trips for radiation, chemotherapy, and specialist appointments, these costs can quickly add up, especially with rising fuel prices.

The Quincy Medical Group Foundation's Oncology Patient Assistance Program helps cover expenses such as auto loans, insurance, and gas. Thank you to everyone who attended Cancer Crush to support local oncology patients.

One of the highlights of the year was the chance to grant a "Moment That Matters" for a local oncology patient. The community responded so warmly to the simple request to support an individual and make this special moment possible. This definitely deserves a spot on this year's highlight reel!

Golfers often talk about going to the “19th hole”, the clubhouse, where they gather to celebrate the day together. That’s exactly how we feel as we reflect on 19 wonderful years as a Foundation. It’s a heartfelt celebration of the difference we’ve made together in our community, and we are deeply grateful for our donors’ unwavering commitment to our cause. Whether through Bridge the Gap, Cancer Crush, or steady monthly support, they have sustained the QMG Foundation’s mission to uplift and enrich the lives of so many. Thank you for being the heart of our journey.
