My fellow tribesman,

Neolin Weekend Is almost here!! It will be held on May 8th-May 9th at Camp Eastman. The cost will be $20 for this event. Candidates will attend for free. To be able to attend this event, you already must have the Neolin award or be a candidate. Dinner will start at 6:00pm.

Brave Day is not only for Braves!

Brave day is next Saturday, and despite the name, this event is not only for Braves. This is a great day for all tribesmen to not only learn more about Silver Tomahawk, but learn how to carry out your role in your paint station better. Whether you’re a Brave, Warrior, Fire Builder, Tom Tom Be**er, Runner, or KSB there’s something you can learn. Brave Day is March 14th, at Camp Eastman! It is entirely free! You will receive the Brave Day Pin, some fun, and free lunch!

9:00-11:00 Paint Station Classes

11:00-12:30 Games (Nine Square, Tug of War, Fire-Building Competition)

TEC Meeting and Workday!

This Saturday is our TEC meeting. As always it will begin promptly at 8AM at Camp Eastman. We have a lot to discuss and decide to get ready for the spring, an ultimately summer camp.

Following the meeting we will have the workday like usual, with lots of projects that need completed.

Don’t forget to add Brave Day on March 14th to your Calendars as well! We will be releasing more information soon!

Yukon is Saturday!

The Tribe of the Silver Tomahawk is helping out at the Yukon Cub Scout event. It is taking place on January 31st, at Camp Eastman. If possible, volunteers should be there by 9, but any help is appreciated.

This is a great way to spend some time at camp and serve those younger and weaker than yourself.

Good Evening,

Standing Bear will be hosting an upcoming event. This is not an Honor Society–sponsored event, but we’re sharing it as an opportunity happening in the area for those who may be interested. Those who are 18 years or older who are wearing a class A will be able to attend the event for free. This is a great time to buy regalia for summer camp.

Good morning,

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that went to Winter Banquet! We had a fun filled evening of delicious food and fellowship.

I want to thank those who cooked in the kitchen. They made an outstanding meal that that received countless compliments.

I also want to congratulate those who received awards last night, they were all extremely deserved.
A new award was introduced last night named the Backbone Award. This award was presented to fifteen tribesmen whose everyday actions strengthen our honor society, but otherwise might have gone unnoticed. This award is not a coup, but recipients receive a certificate and a pin. You can receive this honor multiple times. Recipients should wear these pins proudly, as a symbol of their dedication to helping others.

Your Neolin candidates for 2026 are Dante Patch, Cooper Finn, Jordan Cooper, Wyatt Sullivan, Maddox Dietsch, Jon Finn, Debra Barnes, and Byron Tatti. They will return to their hearts reservation on May 8th, to complete their induction into this honor.

Your Band of Warriors Recipients are Austin Cooper and Logan Hamma.

Looking ahead, on January 31st is the Yukon Cub Scout Event at Camp Eastman. Come stop by and serve those younger and weaker than yourselves by volunteering at this event!

Don’t forget to add Brave Day to your Calendars as well! It will be taking place on March 14th. This year, Brave Day will not just be focused on educating braves about our honor society, but all youth and adult paint stations. More information will be released about this soon.

Winter banquet is only 5 days away!!

Doors open at 4pm Saturday at First Christian Church in Burlington Iowa. Start the night off with fun games and programs with dinner to follow at 6 pm. The evening ends with presentations and awards.
