Our first Water Day was a success☀️!

We had so much fun with sponge relay races, Hot Potato (wet sponge edition), Drip, Drip, Splash (our version of Duck Duck Goose), and the Color Game! In the Color Game, the kids had two chances to guess the color of the cup (there were 5 options). If they guessed wrong, they got a cup of water dumped on them, and if they guessed correctly, they got to dump the water on the other person! Needless to say, they absolutely loved it! 😂

We also cooled off with popsicles and enjoyed a great afternoon outside.

Today we made bean mosaics, created stress balls, and played outside!

🎉TOMORROW🎉 is **Water Day!** Please send your child in clothes and shoes that can get wet and are comfortable for running and playing. Don't forget sunscreen, a towel, and a water bottle to help them stay cool and hydrated throughout the day.

We're looking forward to a fun day of water activities!

What a fun first day at Camp Parsons🌲🏕️🐻
Today we painted banners, enjoyed walking tacos, and cinnamon rolls!

A friendly reminder that every Thursday (weather permitting) we will be outside doing water activities, they will get wet, so please plan accordingly!☀️😎

We finished the week with shaving cream marble painting! They all did a wonderful job and definitely enjoyed the shaving cream 🥳

Quincy area residents may have the opportunity to receive assistance with their Ameren bill at an upcoming workshop on May 21st at the Oakley Lindsey Center.

In addition to learning about energy-saving resources and available programs, eligible participants can receive a $200 credit applied directly to their account after attending the workshop.

Be sure to bring your Ameren bill, proof of income for the past 30 days, and a photo ID. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis!
