Well…it’s here!!! PMC weekend! The team departing from multiple locations today, but all just gathered for dinner up at Holy Cross for ONE VERY BIG MiSSION!

This truly is a weekend of a lifetime ~ you meet so many people, hear so many stories and test your mental and physical abilities as a rider, but we do not get tested anywhere close to those fighting this horrible disease.

As we ride these 177 miles, I can promise you many random thoughts pop in and out of our minds ~ whether it be those we cared for fighting, friends we visited fighting or better yet those we still get to celebrate, ride along side and cheers with that are in remission.

This weekend represents 6,000 riders from all over the world coming together to carry out one goal ~ be a rider, volunteer, donor or the person sending that text message of encouragement at just the right time ~ that one goal of advancing Dana-Farber cancer research encompasses all of us!

One thing I love about this weekend is seeing the riders representing WHY they RIDE! Some wear ribbons with names of those they ride for, some shirts, some crazy helmets showing their team pride! All in all it’s how we share our stories. So buckle up (wait)…clip in perhaps is a better analogy and get ready for the photos, videos and stories of PMC weekend!

Corn Hole isn’t your thing? No worries, come on down and hang out anyway. Sure Shot Promotions will also be supporting TEAM BBS selling some awesome sports autographs and Memorabilia.
