We have been invited to attend the Heritage Days fly in at KMQB, Macomb municipal airport. The event is this Sunday starting at 0700 local and we need to know if anyone would be interested in going. We have been offered free pancakes in exchange for helping with the Aviation Science table.

Remember dogwood parade is tomorrow, be there by 9:30 at our parade spot. What we have done in the past is park in the parking lot for shopko by the movie theater as that was always closest to where we were in line. I will text everyone whose number I have in my phone where exactly the float is located as me and joe will be there earlier as we have to park his truck downtown so we can all pile in and drive back to everyone's parking spot. Please wear QU aviation gear! Jack will be offering rides as he has done so in the past. If you need one get ahold of him at 815-505-5038.

3rd Annual Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge Clinic

When: Saturday, April 26th from 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: Great River Aviation Hangar

I need at least 8 volunteers for this event. We will be working with a couple different local Boy Scout Troops helping them earn their Aviation Merit Badge. Here are the categories that I need you all to choose:
-Airport Tours
-Flight Simulator
-Making a Foam Glider
-Flight Instruments
-Aviation Careers
-Engines
-How an Airplane Flies
-Parts of an Aircraft

Please let me know which one you would like to do. Please be at this event no later than 7:30 AM if you need a ride out to the airport, please coordinate it with another aviation student or contact John Dvorak at [email protected] or (314) 607-7227. I will need all aviation club officers to be at the airport by 7:15 AM at the latest for registration.
