Team HYPER competed at the NE District North Shore Event. We encountered our share of mechanical issues and had to fix new issues between each match. We fought hard and persevered. From freshmen to veteran seniors, our whole team grew. Students’ bonds deepened with new injokes, new names for the robots, shared wigs and fashion, and the thrill of competition.
Morale ran high from our victories, comradery, and our fashion. Team HYPER vowed to improve for our next competition in New Hampshire. Students studied where we went wrong in our matches. Our builders and engineers planned improvements for our robot. Drive team demanded more meetings to practice more. We hope to make the Quincy Public Schools proud in New Hampshire as we rally to a new competition.
Shoutout to our playoff alliance partners: 1922 and 3566
Thanks must be given to our students, mentors, and parents. Support from the Quincy Public Schools, our sponsors, and Quincy’s elementary and middle schools’ LEGO Robotics have been vital to keeping our program running and hopefully thriving to a new banner win.
