Good news, everyone — we're back to our normal league schedule this week. Bag Tag League (Wednesdays) and Ladies' Bag Tag League (Tuesdays) are both on as usual at Pioneer.

Heads up: our online store will be going offline starting this Saturday, August 1st, while we switch to a new shop provider. No timeline yet on when it'll be back, but we'll keep you posted.

Also — reminder that Course Cleanup Day is this Saturday, August 1st at 10 AM. Come help us tidy up Pioneer, and stick around after for burgers and hot dogs on us. Hope to see you out there.

Fair week means a few changes to the league schedule this week, everyone:
Wednesday's Bag Tag League is cancelled this week because of the fair.
Tuesday's Ladies' League is still on, but keep an eye here in case parking at the course forces a cancellation.
Thursday's Putting League is still happening as usual.
We'll be back to our regular schedule next week.
Also — mark your calendars for a Course Cleanup Day on Saturday, August 1st at 10 AM. Come help us tidy up Pioneer, and we'll fire up the grill afterward for burgers and hot dogs. Come throw, come help, come eat — we'd love to see you out there.

The 2026 Glow Series is here.
Get ready to light up the night — Plumas Disc Golf's 2026 Glow Series kicks off on Saturday, June 27th at Pioneer Disc Golf Course! Check-in starts at 8:00 PM, so grab your glow gear and come ready to throw.
$5 Entry Fee
$3 goes directly to player payouts, and $2 supports PDG and disc golf in Plumas County.
And before we get to the glow — don't forget that Plumas Series Event #3 is happening this Saturday, June 20th! Check-in opens at 9 AM, round starts at 10 AM. $10 for members / $12 for non-members. Come earn those series points!

🥏 A NEW SEASON. A NEW TAG. LET'S GO! 🥏
The wait is over — Plumas Disc Golf is officially kicking off the 2026 season and we want YOU to be part of it!
First up: Volunteer Day on March 28 — come help us get Pioneer DGC looking sharp and ready for the season. Show up at 11AM, bring some gloves, and let's take care of our course together. 🙌
Then on April 4th, we're throwing open the gates for the 2026 Membership Drive — the official season opener and the start of Bag Tags League for both Ladies (Tuesdays) and Open (Wednesdays) at 5:30PM. Membership is $25 and includes access to the league all season long. Guests always welcome!
And if competitive play is your thing, the Plumas Series returns for its second year — 7 handicap events from April through October, capped off with a Championship Survivor Round in October. $10/event for members, $12 for non-members. Check-ins at 9AM, rounds at 10AM.
Come for the discs. Stay for the community. 💚

What a productive Labor Day Weekend for Plumas Disc Golf! We had two fantastic work days and made some huge progress on our local courses. ⛓️🌲

First up, a massive THANK YOU to the crew who came out to Pioneer DGC on Saturday, August 30th! They worked hard cleaning up trash and spreading wood chips to keep the course beautiful. Shoutout to our amazing volunteers: Chase Ramirez, Rebecca Terhune, Dan Martynn, Gia Martynn, Linda Smith, and Jeremiah Bridges! Your effort is truly appreciated.

Then, on Monday, September 1st, another incredible team assembled at Cascades DGC with a big goal in mind: installing the final 6 temporary holes. And they did it!

BIG NEWS: All 18 temporary holes are now in at Cascades DGC! 🎉

A huge round of applause for Frederick Howe, Blake Bridges, Dan Martynn, Elizabeth Jones, and Jeremiah Bridges for getting the full layout in the ground.

We are working on getting the course details, map, and pars updated on UDisc and plumasdiscgolf.com soon. Thank you again to every single person who volunteered their time and energy this weekend. Our disc golf community is the best!

Get ready for a big weekend, Plumas Disc Golfers! We've got two important events coming up to help improve and expand our local courses. Come lend a hand! 💪
🌲 EVENT 1: PIONEER DGC CLEANUP DAY 🌲
Let's give our beloved Pioneer course some TLC before the fall season!
* 🗓️ When: Saturday, August 30th at 9:00 AM
* 📍 Where: Pioneer DGC
* 🛠️ The Mission: We'll be clearing fairways, picking up trash, and making the course shine. Bring gloves and water!
⛓️ EVENT 2: CASCADES COURSE BUILD & PLAY! ⛓️
This is it! Let's get the temporary course at the Cascades finished and ready to play!
* 🗓️ When: Monday, September 1st (Labor Day) at 9:00 AM
* 📍 Where: Cascades DGC
* 🏆 The Goal: We're installing the final 6 temporary holes! Afterwards, we'll reward ourselves with a fun casual round on the newly completed layout.
