Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Germantown Neighborhood Center Field Day! ❤️

Our hearts are full after a day spent celebrating community, connection, and fun together. We are so grateful to everyone who came out to make the event such a success.

A special thank you to Snug Harbor Elementary School for hosting us and helping bring our community together.

As summer winds down and the new school year approaches, you can still get involved:
- Pack the Bus School Supply Drive now through the end of the month, and
- Popsicles to Pencils next Saturday, 8/29/26 at the Hale Family YMCA on Coddington Street in Quincy.

When we come together, we do more than collect school supplies—we show local children and families that their community believes in them.

Now through August 29, the South Shore YMCA is collecting new school supplies during our Pack the Bus drive. Every donation, big or small, helps students start the school year with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Whether it's a backpack, a pack of pencils, or a notebook, your generosity helps build confidence before the first bell rings.

Join the South Shore YMCA for Popsicles to Pencils, a FREE Back-to-School Resource Fair designed to help children and families head into the new school year with confidence.

Dance Fitness with EACH Prevention & Wellness Center A low impact dance class designed with adults 55+ in mind, though everyone is welcome. No experience needed, just come move and have fun together.

Have you visited our NEW Community Farm Stand yet?

Each Saturday from 10:30 AM–12 PM, stop by the South Shore YMCA Family Farm to see what's fresh from this week's harvest. While most of the produce grown at the farm is donated to local food pantries, any extra is available free of charge for anyone in our community.

It's one more way the South Shore YMCA is growing healthier communities; one harvest at a time. 💚

Come explore the farm, visit the gardens, and take home a little taste of the season!
