The final week of Popcorn sales is here. Let's finish this season strong!
Just a few important upcoming dates.
October 24: Sales end and Final Orders need to be submitted to Tina.
October 26: Last Day to return up to 30% of Total Product.

Mississippi Valley Council and Eagle Valley District would like to congratulate Troop 58 in Liberty, Illinois, on welcoming two new Eagle Scouts!

Beau L. and Brayson D. both successfully completed their Eagle Boards of Review and earned the rank of Eagle Scout!

Earning Eagle is the culmination of years of hard work, leadership, service, perseverance, and commitment to the values of Scouting. It is an achievement that reflects not only what these Scouts have accomplished, but also the leaders they have become along the way.

Congratulations to Beau and Brayson on this incredible milestone!

What would make Roundtable worth an hour of your time?

That's the question we want our unit leaders to answer.

Maybe you need help with recruiting. Maybe you're looking for new program ideas, training resources, answers to advancement questions, or simply the opportunity to talk with other leaders who have faced the same challenges.

Whatever it is, we want to hear it from you.

We're taking a fresh look at Roundtable and want our unit leaders to have a real voice in what comes next.

Join us this Wednesday at 7pm in person or online. If you can't make it, please email us and let your voice be heard.

Only two more days of early bird pricing for the 👻 2026 Cub Scout Spook-O-Ree 🎃!

Sign up by Tuesday, October 20th to secure early bird pricing of $15/Scout and $10/adult and make a plan to be at Camp Eastman this Saturday, October 24th.

Here’s a sneak peek of the crafts for the afternoon, in addition to other fun activities like BB guns, archery, mini golf, apple carving, and the Haunted House!

The fun starts at 1pm Saturday with dinner, cracker barrel, and all activities included in the registration cost.

Camping is open for all registered Cub Scouts and leaders/parents, but we encourage Packs to make a plan to camp together. No need to reserve a campsite, we will assign you a spot during check-in. Breakfast is included for overnight campers.

The 2026 Spook-O-Ree is coming to Camp Eastman!

Spend Saturday enjoying BB guns, archery, mini golf, STEM, crafts, games, apple carving, candle dipping, and more. Then stick around for dinner, the Haunted House, and an evening movie with popcorn!

Camping is included, so bring the whole Pack and make a weekend of it.

The Eagle Valley District proudly congratulates Morgan T. of Troop 19 on earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

Earning Scouting’s highest rank is the culmination of years of dedication, leadership, service, perseverance, and personal growth. Morgan’s commitment to living by the Scout Oath and Law has helped guide her along this journey and toward this remarkable achievement.

Congratulations, Morgan, and welcome to the Eagle Scout family. We look forward to seeing where your leadership and service take you next.

We are saddened by the passing of Cecil Haskins. Cecil embodied the very spirit of Scouting, giving so much of himself while asking very little in return. He had a tremendous passion for Scouting and served as a positive role model for countless Scouts throughout the years.

Cecil's dedication to the Scouting program spanned decades, during which he served in many volunteer roles, including Assistant Cubmaster, Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Committee Member, Camp Master, The Council’s Executive Board and Council Commissioner. In recognition of his outstanding service, he was honored with both the Eagle Valley District Award of Merit in 1988 and the Silver Beaver Award in 2017.

His legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to Scouting will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
