Hello everyone,

As we continue building momentum for another strong year in Black Hawk Lodge, I want to send a quick reminder that nominations for both the Vigil Honor and the Founder’s Award are now open.

Vigil Honor: The Vigil Honor is the highest recognition our Order can present. It is reserved for Brotherhood members who have demonstrated exceptional service, dedication, and a spirit of selfless leadership.

Eligibility: • Must have been a Brotherhood member for at least 2 years • Must be a currently dues‑paid lodge member

Please note: Some individuals on the eligibility list may not have paid their 2026 dues yet. If you’d like to nominate someone not listed, feel free to ask and we can verify their status. If they are not current, please encourage them to renew their dues—without mentioning the nomination. The list still includes members who have not paid dues since before 2024.

Founder’s Award This award recognizes up to two members each year whose cheerful service strengthens our lodge in meaningful ways. These individuals may or may not hold a formal position, but their impact is unmistakable. They simply need to be dues‑paid members who consistently support the lodge.

Deadline: June 15 We will schedule the review and voting meeting later that month. Please take a moment to reflect and submit at least one nomination. Your insight helps ensure we recognize those whose contributions might otherwise go unnoticed.

Arrowmen, get ready for an awesome day of fellowship and fun at Camp Eastman on Saturday, January 31st!
🛷 Yukon will run in the morning and wrap up around 3:00 PM.
🍽️ Winter Banquet begins at 5:30 PM, where we’ll gather to celebrate our lodge’s accomplishments in 2025 and enjoy a great evening together.
