🌞 The KidsRock Closet is taking a summer break! 🌞

The KidsRock Closet will be CLOSED for the entire month of August so our amazing volunteers can take some time to rest, recharge, and prepare for a new season of ministry. ❤️

We’ll reopen during our regular scheduled hours beginning Sunday, September 6 — and we're kicking things off with our Back to School Event! Families in need are invited to join us as we help get kids ready for the new school year with clothing and other essentials. 🎒📚

We’re grateful for all of the families, donors, volunteers, and supporters who make KidsRock Closet possible. We’ll see you in September! 💙

📣 KidsRock Closet Schedule Update

We're OPEN today (Wednesday, July 1) and ready to serve!

If your family could use free baby and children's clothing or items from our emergency food shelf, we'd love to welcome you today. Our food shelf is fully stocked and available to families in need.

Please note: The KidsRock Closet will be CLOSED for the Independence Day holiday on:

Every child deserves the chance to thrive. But for many families, even basic necessities like clothing, food, and toiletries can feel out of reach.

That’s why community matters.

A simple clothing or food drive can make a real difference for local kids and teens facing difficult seasons. Schools, sports teams, clubs, workplaces -- wherever people gather and there's a desire to make an impact, there is an opportunity to come together and care for neighbors in need.

The KidsRock Closet at Granite City Church is always looking for community partners willing to host drives to help support local families.

This past weekend, we had the joy of hosting a special Mother’s Day event at The KidsRock Closet, serving moms and families in our community with free diapers, children’s clothing, and food supplies.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to come alongside families in a tangible way. What stood out most wasn’t just the free items that were given. It was the care.

Again and again, we saw moms serving other moms. Volunteers showing kindness and compassion to parents who are walking through difficult seasons. In a space like this, “mothering” goes far beyond biology—it looks like showing up, offering support, and caring for one another in meaningful ways.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend, we’re deeply encouraged by these everyday acts of love. It’s a reminder that even small moments of care can make a lasting impact.

The KidsRock Closet is incredibly grateful to David from United Communities / TKD United for a generous donation to support our emergency food shelf!

Because of this contribution, we are able to provide nutritious meals and essential items to individuals and families in our community who need a little extra support right now. Your kindness and commitment make a real difference, and we couldn’t do this work without our community partners.

Welcome to The KidsRock Closet!

The KidsRock Closet is a ministry of Granite City Church in Quincy, MA. We are a resource providing children's clothing FREE OF CHARGE to local families. We also offer free diapers for families in need on our Sunday open dates only (first come, first served; limited sizes may be available). Families are welcome to take what they need from our emergency food shelf on each visit. We also share information about how to access community programs aimed at reducing food and housing insecurity.

OUR HOURS:

ALL WEDNESDAYS - open 9-11am
The FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH - NEW HOURS STARTING OCTOBER 2025 - open 12:30-1:30pm - Diapers are also available on Sunday open dates only.

🌷 Easter Schedule Reminder 🌷

The KidsRock Closet will be closed on Sunday, April 5th in observance of the Easter holiday.

We’ll be back and ready to serve the community on Sunday, April 12th, with diapers, food, and spring clothing available! We're open 12:30-1:30pm on the 12th.
